There's a storm on the bosses farm

This portrait of a man with his typical khaki shirt and farmer’s hat takes a stab at the figure of the conservative farmer in apartheid South Africa.

The eyes of the man are devilishly red, he has a militant demeanour and he is seen against a nightmarish, psychedelic backdrop of blue and red that suggests both a menacing thunderstorm and a rain of fire.
