Tickets can be purchased at the centre (cash or card) or by email through bookings@javettup.com (EFT payment).

Normal Opening Times: 

• 10am - 5pm  |  Tuesday to Saturday  
• Last admission at 4pm
• Closed on Sundays except for the last Sunday of each month
  

Entry fees:

• Adults: R85
• Pensioners: R60
• Under 18: R40
• Under 6: Free
• UP Students: Free (with valid student card)
• UP staff: Free (with valid staff card)
• International Students: R75 
• African based institutions: R40
• Private Tertiary institutions R40
• Booked school tours: R25 (per learner and per teacher)
• ICOM members: Free (with valid membership card)
• SAMA members: Free (with valid proof of membership)

• Freedom Day - 27 April
• International Museum Day - 18 May
• Africa Day - 25 May
• Youth Day - 16 June
• National Women's Day - 9 August
• Heritage Day - 24 September

Booking information:

• Tours Range from 90min (R400)and 120min (R500)
• Private tours are available on request, special rates apply
• Guided tours must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
• The maximum capacity per tour is 15 people
