The Javett Art Centre at the University of Pretoria (Javett-UP) is excited to announce that bookings are now open for the March school break instalment of Bokamoso Holiday Art Programme happening from 25 to 28 March 2024. Parents can begin to enrol their children by purchasing tickets on Webtickets .
Bokamoso Holiday Art Programme caters for kids aged seven to fifteen years, and provides an enriching and enjoyable experience which keeps learners focused during their school holidays. As a space that enhances a unique and exceptional transdisciplinary learning through the arts, the Javett-UP prides itself as a place not only for enjoying art but for also learning about it.
Activities for the March edition will feature edutaining workshops in painting, sculpting, weaving and string art. Learners will also tour the iconic National Treasures: Mapungubwe Gold Collection and the AngloGold Ashanti Barbier Mueller Gold of Africa Collection being exhibited at the Javett-UP.

Please note that the costs include facilitation and materials. Participants must pack their own lunch. With intake space being limited, parents are encouraged to book on time to avoid disappointments.

The programme will start daily from 9:00am and end at 1:00pm. Parents can drop-off their kids from 8:00am.
