The Javett-UP hosted a holiday programme workshop on 16 December from 10:00 – 15:00 with 120 learners from Alex Arts Academy.
Javett-UP’s Education Officer, Puleng Plessie and 8 Javett-UP facilitators started the workshop with a story telling session incorporated with an educational tour of the Javett-UP. This was then followed by unpacking of the CAPS Curriculum by exploring art elements and design principles with artworks which are exhibited.
Part of this exciting programme included a treasure-hunt, drawing workshop and presentations from learners.
