Made possible by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI), this workshop will provide practical tools and creative approaches to integrate the themes of the We, The Purple exhibition —spanning democracy, protest, and social commentary —into your teaching practices. It’s a perfect opportunity to enrich your lesson plans, inspire your learners, and foster critical thinking in the classroom.

Exciting Opportunities!

Two lucky schools will be selected to receive a free guided tour of the exhibition and a workshop around art careers with 30 learners for each school on the 28th of February. This is a fantastic way to extend the impact of the workshop to your classroom and inspire the next generation of changemakers!

Who Should Attend?

This workshop is open to all teachers or artist-educators eager to expand their teaching toolkit and engage with South Africa’s rich artistic and democratic heritage.

Participants will receive certificates of attendance
