The Javett Art Centre at the University of Pretoria (Javett-UP) is offering 4-month full-time work based experience internships from 1 December 2024 to 31 March 2025. Candidates with a post-matric qualification are encouraged to apply for positions in:
- Sales and Marketing
- Events Management & Project Coordination
- Gallery Assistant / Tour Guide
- Curatorial & Research
- Multimedia Content Creation & Editing
- Arts Administration & Fundraising (Graphic Design) – please submit your creative portfolio alongside other application documents.
Interns will receive a stipend of R5 700.00 per month.
Applications should be emailed to connect@javettup.com with the internship position, your name, and surname in the subject line (e.g. Sales and Marketing Internship: Daniel Teel). Please note, applications without a subject line indicating what you are applying for, followed by your name and surname will be discarded.
Attach the following documents as part of your application:
Comprehensive CV
Certified copy of a post-matric qualification (NQF Level 5 or higher)
Certified copy of South African ID
Contact information of two referees who we have permission to contact.
