Always calling home: The Archipelago Series

The "The Archipelago" series started within "Always Calling Home" at the Art & Science research program "Artists-in-labs" from the Institute for Cultural Studies in the Arts (ICS) at the Zurich School of the Arts (ZhDK) in collaboration with the South African Astronomical Observatory from September to December, 2018. "Always Calling Home" has been later on expanded as "The Archipelago" series for the Fak'ugesi Festival held in September, 2019 in Johannesburg. Includes a second sound sculpture "NEA.player", 2019, and "Manifesto for the Republic fo the Archipelago", 2019 (below)

/We are many and made from many
/Millions of particles, suspended matters
/We are the Republic of the archipelago
/We existed within and outside the original body
/We got expelled, coagulated together to be extracted or expelled again
/Roaming the void, exobodies seeking home
/We float like islands within the general stream of your consciousness
/Quantum nudgets
/Suspended matters
/We are the archipelago
/They say that if one of us fail, the rest would all start falling
/But that doesn't mean that the others wouldn’t back up and try again
/As you listen, we adjust the balance between us
/We are the Republic of the Archipelago
